3. London merchant, a fortune Thellusson Peter-31638 (Isaac Louis de , Progenitor ) was born on 27 Jun 1737 in Paris. He died on 21 Jul 1797 in Plaistow,Bromley,Kent.

Peter Thellusson. Contractor. He is son3. He has three sons and three drs. Early, he insures French ships sailing to the East. One of "the Huguenot internationale". He traded on his own account with West Indies, speculated on stock exchange. During French Rev he was chief London correspondent for Greffulhe and Montz, who had taken over the earlier Thellusson-Necker bank in France, andhe speculated for them, and handled sums for French emigres. He is linked business-wise to Camden Calvert and King, qv. Burke's LG for Grant-Dalton (Thellusson) of Brodsworth Hall. Burke's LG for Champion De Crespigny. A note in file 1773 or 1774 says Necker, the French financier in Robert Morris's time once worked for Thellussons. GEC, Peerage, Listowel, p. 84; Rendlesham, p. 765; Eglintoun, p. 27; Hampton, p. 290. He emigrates to London, to 15 Philipot Lane in 1762 and later forged links with Sir Wm Curtis and Calvert and Co. Cozens' thesis of 2005. He is also an agent for Continental finance house, Vandedyver et Cie of Amsterdam and Paris. In 1765 he invests in a slaving voyage with John and Anthony Fonblanque, merchants of Great Tower St., London. He dies with a fortune of more than £600,000. His own entry by E. I. Peter married Woodford Anne-28855 daughter of Of Southampton Woodford Matthew-112799 and WNotknown Miss-47417 in 1761. Anne died on 18 Jan 1805.
