3. MP for Bristol Davis Richard Hart-14686 (Henry , Progenitor ) was born in 1766 in Bristol. He was christened in 1824 in active. He died in 1842 in Hampstead London. He was buried in Kensal Green.

Code-red. Burke's LG for Hoare of Gateley Hall. He is of RH Davis and Son, wool merchants, Coleman Street Buildings, and 38 Conduit St, Mayfair. Does not seem to be in IGI on Internet. See more in Burke's for Hart-Davis of Nether Stowey. He is MP for Bristol in Burke's LG for Harford of Horton. Burke's LG for Hoare of Gateley Hall. In 1833 T. P. Macqueen wanted to take over R. H. Davis' properties in Hunter Valley, "Waverley" and "Cundle Cundle" as Davis owed Macqueen some £7000. He became "an original and very active director" of AACo. He owns Walton Castle near Bristol, a house in Grosvenor Square and a picture collection worth £100,000. He is a friend of T. P. Macqueen qv. By 1810 he had made a fortune trading in Spanish wool through Bristol, and in 1810 alone he is reputed to have made £200,000. See Statham /Pemberton unpub on TP Macqueen qv. Richard married Whittingham Sarah-56265 daughter of Whittingham William-84569 and Richardson Sarah-104066. Sarah was born in 1766 in Bristol. She died in 1836 in London.

  8 M i Customs Collector Mauritius Davis Hart-56266 was born in 1791 in Bristol. He was christened in 1812 in active. He died in 1854.

He is son1. His sister marries Harford in Burke's LG for Harford of Horton. He may be link to MP Richard Hart Davis qv? He had a grant of land Waverley managed by T. P. Macqueen's man Peter McIntyre in the Maitland area of NSW. Since his father had lost money re a govt loan, this man becomes customs collector on Mauritius, where he worked with Sir Ralph Darling.         Hart married DNotknown Charlotte-493303. Charlotte was born in 1790 in Edinburgh. She died in 1861 in London.
+ 9 M ii AACo investor, wool trader Davis Richard Vaughan-56267 was born in 1797. He died in 1872.
  10 F iii Davis Louisa-42426.

She is dr1 in Burke's LG for Harford of Horton.
        Louisa married Author JP Harford John Scandrett II-42416 son of Banker Harford John Scandrett-38003 and Gray Mary-46656 on 31 Aug 1812. John was born on 9 Oct 1785. He died on 16 Apr 1866.
